Put It On The Wall - Hervey Bay Newborn Photography

How can I not love my job...... I get to cuddle, fuss over & squeeze newborn babies all the time. I also get to capture some of the cutest expressions and moments in newborn family lives. Creating images that will be hung on walls like art pieces, so precious and valuable, that visitors will gasp over.

Meet Baby Thomas. He has the blondest hair and eyelashes I have seen yet. I am sure these images will make it to the wall, how can they not, he is sooooooo cute!

Work it Baby! ~ Hervey Bay Newborn Photography

This week I had the pleasure of photographing Baby Lincoln who travelled all the way from Bundaberg. Lincoln gave me lots of expressions! Some not too happy ones but also some really cute ones! Lincoln made me & his parents 'work' for each image captured, I don't mind, so worth the 'work' (can you call photographing babies work?)

Baby Bonnie ~ Hervey Bay Newborn Photography

Bonnie's mummy contacted me the other day holding her breath to see if I would photograph her new baby girl. As you may know I love to photograph newborns within the fist 3 weeks of age & Bonnie's mummy thought she may be too late, as Bonnie is now 11 weeks old, and miss out on having me photograph their new family. I was more then delighted to photograph them but was unsure what poses were going to be possible with an older 'newborn'. Well Bonnie, mum & dad were fantastic and the images speak for themselves. A Testimony ~ Hervey Bay Wedding Photography

A few days ago I received this amazing testimony from Ryan & Cherie, who's wedding I photographed back in August 08. Ryan & Cherie are the perfect couple, it was such a pleasure to capture their amazing wedding memories for them.

The Testimonial: " Litzow Photography was the perfect wedding photography experience, from the preliminary stages of planning out ideas, desired shots and locations Jodie has transformed our wedding dreams into art.

Thanks to Jodie’s individual style and eye for the moment she has delivered a wedding album unique to any other. Her photos are exquisite and full of life giving both natural and glamorous images of our special day.

We couldn't be happier with our album and the experience in full. Your Wedding day goes by in a blur but now we are able to re-live each moment of that day for the rest of our lives. Thank you Jodie."

Brides Blog ~ Hervey Bay Wedding Photography

Back in September 2008, I photographed the wedding of Sean & Tamsyn. Tamsyn is an avid blogger and posted this story about her wedding day with some of the images I captured. I thought I would post this link for you to read all about her wedding day but also to hear her non scripted thoughts about having me as her wedding photographer.

Big is Beauitful ~ Hervey Bay Newborn Photography

I was stunned when I was first told the birth weight of this beautiful baby girl. She is so cute and roley. Mum and Dad are so in love with their new baby and had to have photos taken of her as soon as possible so we arranged to photograph Stella at 8 days old. The session was long but well worth the effort made by all to capture this fleeting time as babies change and grow so quickly within the first few months. I know your all waiting for me to tell you. Well Stella was weighed in at an amazing 11 pounds! You can see more images from Stella's newborn session here: http://www.litzowphotography.com.au/babystella

Miss Rhianna ~ Maryborough Newborn Photography

It is amazing to see the newborn babies that I have photographed over the years, all grown up. Recently I welcomed Michelle & Ty back into my home to photograph their 2nd daughter, Rhianna. I first met Michelle & Ty 2 1/2 years ago when they asked me to photograph their first born, Chelsea. I present no expectations to families when there is siblings under the age of 4yrs as we all know that children would prefer to play and do other things then sit still and have their photo taken. But I must say that Chelsea was fantastic and very cooperative for her age. You can see more of this beautiful family here: http://www.litzowphotography.com.au/babyrhianna

Times Two ~ Hervey Bay's Newborn Twin Photographer

WOW! What a joy it is to photograph a newborn baby. I just love my job! Recently I had the pleasure of photographing Corinne & Michael's newborn TWINS! Not one but two amazing newborns! Corinne is amazing herself, carrying her boys full term. Corinne & Michael adore their boys, Toby & Lawson, you can see it in the way they look at them, hold them, pure amazement, love, joy, delight. I feel that the images we captured today reflect this so much it's almost tangible. Hope you feel it too. You can see Toby & Lawson's slidesow here: http://www.litzowphotography.com.au/tobyandlawson

See Me In Action ~ Hervey Bay Newborn Session

Newborn sessions are fun! They are also 'cute' 'messy' 'funny' a little 'stressful' at times & very 'long' but very much worth all of that. I have always said that I would love to video a session (mainly cause I find when they wee everywhere so very funny) but also to show myself in action and the beautiful images that that are produced. So I asked my very patient husband, Geoff, to kindly video the session I did with my sister-in-law Kate. Geoff did a fantastic job capturing the session just the way I asked him to and the result is below. I do have to mention a thank you to Kate & Justin for allowing me to video their session and also a big disappointment that Miss Phoebe, not once, did any wees during the session.
