Destination Port Douglas ~ Wedding Photography

When I was first contacted by Cathy (Mother of the Bride) I was unsure if I should say yes to photographing her daughter's wedding. I was informed that the wedding was to be held in beautiful Port Douglas at Saint Mary's by the Sea, a chapel located on the beach. The reception was to be at Ridge's Sabaya the bride was to dress at the Sea Temple an amazing 5 star resort..... what was there not to like about being the professional photographer for this wedding? A PLANE! Yes that's right, I was unsure about getting on a plane. This was to be my first ever flight, a little sad since I am 31. But I had lots of reason's not to get on a plane, motion sickness, heights and of course all of those air plane crash movies! Well I did it! and actually enjoyed it to. I really needed to get out of my comfort zone. Well what more can I say but Port Douglas is truly magnificent and tropical. I was blessed with everything beautiful: an amazing couple who were not afraid but more so led me to trek across the huge rocks just to get the shot, location, dress, light, time, it really was hard not to take an amazing shot. Our Guest Signature Albums are a great way to display your amazing engagement photos and also words of encouragement/congratulations from friends on your wedding day. Guest Signature Albums are an A4 size landscape album. The layouts are modern with ample amounts of space around your images for words of congratulations.
